Flourish - to be in a vigorous state; thrive: The state will flourish once the war is over and the resources are all ours.
Guerilla - a member of a band of irregular soldiers that uses guerrilla warfare, harassing the enemy by surprise raids, sabotaging communication and supply lines, etc: The United States beat the British army mostly by guerilla warfare.
Renegade - a person who deserts a party or cause for another: When the Republican senator decided to join the Democrats he was called a traitor and a renegade.
Repose - the states of reposing or being at rest; rest; sleep: The banks were all at repose when the stock market crashed.
Stereotype - a simplified and standardized conception or image invested with special meaning and held in common by members of a group: The stereotype of the lazy Latino played a major role of his defeat during the presidential elections.
Symbiosis - a relationship between two people in which each person is dependent upon and receives reinforcement, whether beneficial or detrimental, from the other: China and the United States are in a state of symbiosis with each other at the moment needing one another to have a stable economy.
Tariff - an official list or table showing the duties or customs imposed by a government on imports or exports: According to a tariff the United States imposed on Cuba, there can not be any import or export between the two countries.
Tempo - characteristic rate, rhythm, or pattern of work or activity: The fast tempo of the drums kept the soldiers marching.
Tranquility - quality or state of being tranquil; calmness; peacefulness; quiet; serenity: It is often said that the tranquility and silence before the battle is the worst part of war.
Tumult - a general outbreak, riot, uprising, or other disorder: The fixed elections caused a tumult among the young citizens that left many injured.
Tundra - one of the vast, nearly level, treeless plains of the arctic regions of Europe, Asia, and North America: If someone spoke against the state they would be sent to the frozen tundra that is Siberia.
Unanimous - of one mind; in complete agreement; agreed: The whole senior class was unanimous when they decided they wanted a longer lunch period.
